Elizabeth & Nicholas

New Orleans Wedding Invitation •
Illustrated Wedding Invitation

Elizabeth and Nicholas were married beneath the oaks at the Audubon Tea Room, a setting that we illustrated on a bespoke gate card made from seed paper. Drawn in graphite pencil, the Tea Room gates graced the front, and an old oak tree bearing Spanish moss and a chandelier adorned the inside. The rest of the invitation artwork took inspiration from Uptown gates and shotgun house filigree to create a suite brimming with New Orleans romance.

Sarah & Rande

Monogram Wedding Invitations •
Wedding Venue Illustration

Sarah and Rande were married at Sarah’s childhood church in Mandeville, Louisiana. Featuring her church was important to her, so we created two digital venue illustrations to use on the envelope liner and programs. The monogram, stamped in gold foil, was inspired by the ornamentation carved into the church’s architecture.

Campbell & Bryce

New Orleans Wedding Invitation

Campbell and Bryce celebrated their wedding on Lundi Gras, inviting their friends to experience the greatest New Orleans party and tradition. They wanted an invitation that illustrated the Mardi Gras theme while still maintaining the elegance of a wedding. For the focus of the piece, we created ornate Mardi Gras masks to represent each of them and scattered fleur de lis within the filigree. Finally, we illustrated an iconic Uptown house modestly decorated with Mardi Gras beads for the envelope liner.

Baylee & Hunter

New Orleans Wedding Invitation • Venue Illustration Wedding Invitation

Baylee and Hunter knew the meaning of sophistication and finery, but also how to combine that with a proper NOLA bash. Baylee came to me with a black and white vision for her stationery–it had to be clean and crisp with elegant calligraphy fonts. She also wanted a modern twist, where a single, all-in-one gate card served up the details at once. Tied with black satin ribbon, a double-envelope featuring their St. Louis Cathedral venue, and sealed with black wax, Baylee and Hunter invited their guests to the event of their lives in style.

Allison & Franklin

Southern Wedding Invitation • New Orleans Wedding Invitation

Allison and Franklin said “I do” at the Chloe, a charming house-turned- hotel in Uptown New Orleans. Their invitation suite drew much inspiration from the Chloe, prooving that not all venue illustrations must be literal. The white alligator, featured on the envelope liner, is an icon at the Chloe, and the illustration was based on the original. Keeping in line with the romantic and sophisticated style of the hotel, we brought in teals and dark greens coupled with a show-stopping script font. Finally, a gold ribbon tied it all together.

Jessica & Max

Destination Wedding Invitation •
Illustrated Wedding Invitation

Jessica and Max shared a deep love for Japanese culture, so they celebrated their wedding in a Japanese garden and heritage museum in Delray Beach. From the save the dates to the day-of stationery, we incorporated as many Japanese garden elements as possible. Hand-drawn cherry blossoms were the star, but we also included a river and sand lines from iconic rock gardens. Finished with a vellum wrap and wax seal, their invitations welcomed guests into the garden long before the ceremony.
